After I graduated from Mercer University School of Law in 1998, I focused my practice on helping people file bankruptcy. When my clients first come in, they have often been mistreated and knocked down by creditors, corporations, and situations in life beyond their control. I enjoy helping people pick themselves back up and start moving forward again. I believe there is a certain freedom and respect that everyone deserves, and my goal is to help them take control of their financial lives.
To me, every day at work should be a little like The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood. I like to meet with every client and crunch all the numbers myself. I run a small office because I realized that the large, suit-and-tie law firm life was not for me. I aim to do things differently, so that’s why I started my own law practice.
